The 174260 and 177148 turbochargers boast identical wheel dimensions, yet they differ in exhaust housing configurations. The 174260 features a 1.10 A/R wastegated housing, whereas the 177148 is equipped with a larger 1.32 A/R housing.

The horsepower difference between these two models results in a notable 100 HP improvement. The enhanced housing on the 177148 allows for superior engine breathing, supporting up to 600 HP compared to the 500 HP limit of the 174260.
